The "sense of loss" is a very complex emotion, which is often manifested in the breaking of the inherent order between the places and the possible loss of identity, class, rights, etc. The word "sense of loss" originates from the derivation of "sense of place".Steele believes that "sense of place" is the product of the interaction between people and places, and is an experience generated by places and given by people. The fisherman group has been wandering for a long time, and the fate depends on the weather.Their bodies are isolated from land, and their spirit is shrouded by a sense of drift and loss.I try to explore the self experience and emotional value of the fisherman group in the modern space by taking the "sense of loss" of the fisherman in the space as the starting point and the documentary "Fisherman in the Sea" as the background. It is divided into three chapters:The first chapter, from the perspective of space and identity, tries to find a fundamental position to maintain the fishermen’s "sense of locality" in the film in the diversified spatial composition of region, society and culture. It is believed that in the documentary "Survival at Sea",the yearning of the fishermen for "local identity" is rooted in the lack of the original sense of security provided by the local.Driven by the sense of security, fishermen have developed a fascination with land, dependence on industry and worship of gods. The second chapter, from the perspective of spacial detachment, attempts to explain the cause and manifestation of the fisherman’s "sense of loss" in the film, and discusses the complex symbiotic relationship between space and fisherman under the erosion of capital politics. On the one hand, the concept of "home" in the fisherman community has been peeling off and pulling away for a long time.On the other hand, the emotional anxiety without "home" has led to changes in the identity, occupation and cognition of the fisherman in the space. The third chapter discusses the possibility of boundary stitching from the perspective of multiple spaces.First, media can become the carrier of local memory and experience.Secondly, relying on the media and through the weaving of imagination,we can present a more complete three-dimensional picture of the place, find our own local memory links, and reshape the personalized and mobile "Utopia" world. |
