A Study Of Confusable Word Related To Probabilistic Modal Adverb

Confusable word is an important and difficult point in international Chinese teaching and a hot topic in recent years.The reason why the study of confusable words has become a research hotpot is that if we only discriminate synonyms with similar meanings and exclude many words that are not within the range of synonyms but are also easily confused by international students,it will not be conducive to the progress of international Chinese vocabulary teaching.The probabilistic adverb of mood is a kind of words that foreign students often use in daily life.The meaning and usage of these words are very complicated,and students often confuse them with other words when using them.Therefore,from the perspective of interlanguage,the study of probabilistic adverbs from confusable words will help to improve the efficiency of vocabulary teaching,reduce the frequency of misuse of confusable words,and thus achieve the purpose of vocabulary teaching.The thesis consists of six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.First,we define the probable adverb and confusable words,and explain the value of topic selection.In addition,it also introduces the relevant research status,research ideas and methods,and the sources of corpus.The second chapter focuses on the definition of confusable words related to adverbs of probable mood.In this chapter,we identified 24 groups of confusable words related to adverbs of probable mood as our research objects.The third chapter mainly discusses the confounding characteristics of confusable words related to probabilistic adverbs.This paper mainly analyzes the confusion characteristics of the confusable words related to the probable mood adverb by exploring the mixing direction of the confusable words,the inter-word relationship between the misused words and the appropriate words,the word class relationship between the misused words and the appropriate words,and the type of confusable words.Chapter four identifies and analyzes four groups of confusing adverbs of probable mood by combining with the biased corpus of foreign students.The fifth chapter discusses the confusion between adverb of probable mood and other kinds of words.Based on the confusing corpus of foreign students,4 groups of confusable words are selected for discrimination.These four groups of easily confused words belong to the confusion between a probable adverb and a verb,the confusion between a probable adverb and an adjective,and the confusion between a probable adverb and a noun.Chapter six first discusses the teaching suggestions of confusable words,and then gives the teaching design of“恐怕”and“怕”,“大概”and“一般”.
