Research On The Theme Of Fantasy Characters In In Lacquer Painting

With the development of the times,the ideology espoused by the society is also changing,and the expressive themes of paintings have become colorful,among which are still life themes,landscape themes,rural life themes,fantasy themes and so on.The author chose the theme of fantasy figures as the direction of lacquer painting,which includes religious themes of gods and goddesses,ghosts and monsters,childish elements,dreamy moods,etc.These themes are conceived by the creators on the basis of the real world.In contemporary lacquer painting,the creators express their inner world and convey some metaphorical connotations to the viewer.It is of great relevance to explore the expression of illusionary figures in lacquer paintings,to summarize their artistic forms and characteristics,and to apply them to the creation of figure lacquer paintings.Nowadays,it is difficult for people to take a trip in real life due to the influence of school,work and epidemic.The author was deeply touched by this and decided to express a journey of the soul in the creation of lacquer paintings,which is a fantasy trip of a dreamy girl,where there are fantastic scenery that cannot be experienced in real life.This thesis focuses on the figures in lacquer painting,and takes the dreamy,fantastical and unrealistic illusionary mood as the entry point to analyze the expression and characteristics of the illusionary figure theme in lacquer painting works.For the former,we analyze the development of the illusionary figure theme in traditional lacquer art and contemporary lacquer painting.The analysis of the characteristics of expression is carried out in four aspects: the expression of ideology,the expression of spatial structure,the expression of character modeling,and the expression of materials in the illusion theme in contemporary lacquer paintings.The author then combined his own experience in the research and practice process,combined his own spiritual world with the real world,and created the series of lacquer paintings "Journey of the Mind",further combining theory and practice to depict the fantastical and gorgeous world of illusion inside in the form of lacquer painting.In the process of this lacquer painting creation,the author not only improved his lacquer painting skills,but also well achieved to show the romantic fantasy world in the author’s heart in the lacquer painting creation.
