Regional culture documentary is a type of documentary film that focuses on the material and immaterial civilization given by human activities in a specific region,showing the charm and spirit of humanistic care,and is processed by video art.From the viewpoints of film and television,sociology,and communication,regional culture documentaries use documentary techniques to shoulder the function of video recording to tell the local culture and national memory,and also carry the mission to promote the regional culture and national spirit of communication.As a carrier and an important part of regional culture,introducing dialects into the study of regional culture documentaries can not only give shape to regional culture,touch the texture and veins of local civilization with sound,and show the original social landscape and way of life of the local area,but also help regional culture documentaries inherit and spread local traditional culture and national spirit,close the psychological distance with the audience,and thus stir up a strong It can also help to pass on and spread the local traditional culture and national spirit,and bring the audience closer to the psychological distance,thus stirring up a strong local identity and cultural self-confidence,allowing the local voice to speak the voice of China and tell the story of Chinese land.This thesis takes "the art of dialect expression in regional culture documentaries" as the topic,uses literature analysis method,film viewing method and other research methods,takes the broadcasted Chinese regional culture documentaries as the research model,and combines the author’s own creative experience,and conducts an analysis of four aspects: dialect expression form,functional role,strategy optimization and value significance.The research method is based on a study of Chinese regional culture documentaries.The thesis is divided into seven parts: the first part is the introduction,which provides a comprehensive overview and summary of this research topic from four aspects: research background and significance,the current situation of domestic and international research,research methods and innovations,and the elaboration of documentary directors,expressing their own views and opinions on the basis of the inheritance of previous generations.The second part provides an overview of regional culture documentaries and dialects,thus exploring the relationship between regional culture documentaries and dialects,and then summarizes the specific use of dialects in regional culture documentaries according to the chronological order.The third section elaborates on the presentation of dialects in regional culture documentaries,pointing out that dialects provide a variety of sound expressions for the creation of regional culture documentaries through three sound signs: songs,dialogues,and narration.The fourth section explores the functional role of dialect in the narrative content of regional culture documentaries in five parts: characterization,setting,cultural manifestation,emotional resonance,and aesthetic presentation.The fifth section explores the handling of dialect in regional culture documentaries,and proposes strategies from three perspectives: audio recording,on-set follow-up and audio-visual post-production,with a view to maximizing the benefits of dialect expression in regional culture documentaries.The sixth section explores the value and significance of dialect expression in regional culture documentaries in terms of preserving language resources,spreading traditional culture,identifying with regional identity,and enhancing national self-confidence from a concluding perspective.The seventh part conducts the overall summary and reflection of this study.
