Record monument is a kind of tablet inscriptions developed and mature in the Eastern Han Dynasty.There are still 45 pieces in existence,which are mainly used to praise the virtues and achievements of people or to commemorate major events and the contributions of relevant participants.Most of the tablets are local officials,and occasionally praise ordinary people.As a practical style with special application field and special purpose of expression,and with unique expression context and rhetorical object,the inscription of the Eastern Han Dynasty has unique stylistic features and functions,and also implies special cultural and psychological factors of the Eastern Han Dynasty society.Based on the social and cultural background of the Eastern Han Dynasty,this thesis makes a comprehensive study of the text content,stylistic features,stylistic functions and social psychology of the inscriptions on the Eastern Han Dynasty.This thesis is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction first introduces the current research status of the issues related to Contribution Inscriptions,sorts out and summarizes the previous studies,and explains the reason and significance of the topic of this thesis.The text is divided into four chapters: the first chapter introduces the basic situation and cultural background of Contribution Inscriptions,and sorts out the inventory of Contribution Inscriptions;The second chapter discusses the classification of Contribution Inscriptions,starting from the specific content of Contribution Inscriptions,excavates the main groups and types of events praised by Contribution Inscriptions;The third chapter discusses the stylistic features and functions of the stele,explores the stylistic features of the stele from the structure and style of writing,and combing the stylistic features of the stele with the two.The fourth chapter explores the hidden social psychology of the inscriptions,starting from the two main subjects of the officials and the people around the inscriptions,combined with the political and cultural background of the Eastern Han Dynasty society,and discusses the social psychological factors that affect the motivation of the creation of the inscriptions.The conclusion summarizes the main points and contents of the thesis.
