Since the development of Internet +,the focus of people’s life has gradually shifted to the virtual platform.At this stage,mobile phones are mainly used,and the minimalist and flat UI interface has become the mainstream.However,as the virtual social model under the concept of Metaverse enters people’s field of vision in 2021,its related industries: augmented reality,virtual reality,AI,Internet of Things,and other underlying technologies are constantly updated and improved,scene-based social networking,intelligent manufacturing,virtual The community has opened up new commercial outlets for capital;people can’t help but imagine more possibilities of virtual social interaction.Generation Z is a group closely related to the Internet.As a generation born after 1995,they grew up with the development of the Internet.Different groups,Generation Z is very dependent on virtual life.Their discourse expression on virtual social platforms is an important part of their self-presentation and social interaction.At the same time,they have also shaped a unique way of discourse and network ecological appearance.The focus of this thesis is to study the method of interactive font design under the virtual social environment,and innovate the design of interactive fonts from the perspectives of psychology,communication and behavior.Taking the social needs of the Z-generation youth for self-expression and group identity as the starting point of the design,the design Cater to the needs of Generation Z and design interactive font visual forms suitable for Generation Z.In view of this,clarify the characteristics of the online discourse expression form and content of Generation Z,summarize,and extract elements that may affect the visual content,and propose that interactive fonts are fonts that meet the virtual social needs of Generation Z;from the discourse mechanism that exists in Generation Z Guide the visual deconstruction of font design,and put forward a clear design direction: 1.The functional transformation of fonts from "unitary" to "multiple";2.The loss of explicit order of font layout and font shapes;3.The perceptual shift of materials;4..Visual changes in bright and strong contrast colors,etc.,are different from the breakthroughs in the visual form of font design at the present stage.The structure of the article is arranged as follows: the first part analyzes the basis of the topic selection of this paper from multiple perspectives such as background,significance and innovation;the second part defines the characteristics of the growth environment group of Generation Z,etc.,and deduces the general direction of font design through potential needs.And put forward the breakthrough of the design;the third part is the specific elaboration and practice of the design,from the post-modern visual tendency to the technical support of AR,and provides a solution for the demand put forward in the paper.Finally,through the graduation project,practice and apply the design method proposed in the thesis.
