| Song Lian was the literary leader in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasties,as well as the First Civilian Official During Founding of State" in the Ming Dynasty.He had many contacts with contemporaneous calligraphers,painters,collectors and literati,and was invited to appreciate and write the inscriptions frequently.Therefore,he created and left behind a large number of calligraphy and painting inscriptions.At the same time,as an outstanding calligrapher in the early Ming Dynasty,he was also good at regular,running and cursive scripts,especially excelled at small-regular script.This paper will conduct comprehensive collection,collation and research on Song Lian’s surviving inscriptions of calligraphy and painting.By the reference and comparison with the surviving literature and combination with the research and analysis of calligraphy style,this paper will distinguish the authenticity of song Lian’s inscriptions.By studying the contents of Song Lian’s inscriptions,this paper will analyse his views about calligraphy and painting verification,then summarize his views about Literature and Art pertinently. |
