The phoenix bird is usually regarded as the symbol of the state of Chu。 A batch of bird-shaped or phoenix bird-shaped artifacts unearthed from Chu tombs in the last century confirmed this point again,and let us truly see the rich and colorful images of phoenix birds in Chu。 But the diversity of these phoenix bird images also caused different interpretations in academic circles。 The reason for this polysemy is that we are unclear about the concept of "phoenix birds" in Chu people。 In fact,one of the key points in the finalization of the phoenix bird image is that the phoenix bird image has completely changed into a gorgeous image that people are familiar with today from Chu Dynasty in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty,which continued from Yin and Shang Dynasties to Zhou Dynasty。 The meaning of "phoenix bird" is undergoing changes,which is reflected in the originality and richness of this phoenix bird image in the image。 The purpose of this paper is to explore the various meanings of these phoenix bird images and the ideas behind them by taking the objects with phoenix bird images unearthed in Chu State in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty as the main research objects。This paper first discusses the origin and development of the word “phoenix bird” from the Shang Dynasty to the two weeks。 It gradually changed from the invisible wind god in oracle inscriptions to the bronze bird pattern with concrete images。 With the extensive changes of political ideas in the Western Zhou Dynasty and Eastern Zhou Dynasty,it appeared in the artifacts of Chu culture。 The phoenix bird images unearthed in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and Chu concentrated in the silk fabric of Mashan No。1 Chu Tomb。 They are also important research objects of this paper。 In addition,there are a class of bird patterns on lacquer ware and scattered phoenix bird patterns on other artifacts。 Besides the formal division,the focus of this paper is actually the ideas behind these images。 They are not only inextricably linked with the ancestors of Chu State。 Besides,it has become a concrete manifestation of the concept of soul and eternal life,and even has revealed that it is a representative symbol of women。 This new change is based on the concept of male and female gender extended from the concept of Yin and Yang。... |
