In recent years,Marius Borgeaud’s paintings have appeared in people’s eyes in China,but few people have studied his paintings.Most of the themes of his paintings come from what he sees in daily life.The painter depicts the interior life scenes of Brittany,France,through unique perspectives,full colors and direct brush strokes.The pictures are quiet and philosophical.Through the study of the formal language of Borgeaud’s painting,it is helpful to broaden our academic vision of the post-impressionist period and provide new enlightenment for today’s reproducible painting.From the perspective of painting practitioners,this paper takes specific works as examples to study the formal language of Marius Borgeaud’s paintings,and then explores why the artist’s paintings show the aesthetic feeling of "tranquility".The first chapter mainly describes Borgeaud’s artistic career and the background of his times,and explores the reasons for the formation of the artist’s painting style.The second chapter discusses the "perspective" of Borgeaud’s painting,including the artist’s choice of viewing before and during the practice of painting.The third chapter discusses the characteristics of the formal language of Borgeaud’s paintings,analyzes the inherent implicit schema of his works,and the relationship between narrative and reproduction in Borgeaud’s paintings;from the perspective of the ontological language of oil painting,it analyzes the use of color system and oil painting techniques in Borgeaud’s paintings. |
