The system of granting music is a system of rites and music for rewards and exchange under the system of rites.In the early stage,the content of rewards was mostly Yayue,and in the later stage,it was ritualized folk music or folk music with the nature of ritual and music.Music,such as Guchuiyue Music and Nvyue Music.The system of granting music breaks through the limitations of the ritual and music system.The emperor bestows the scale of ritual and music that he is not entitled to the meritorious ministers,so that they can leapfrog their ranks and enjoy ritual and music that is higher than their own level.The phenomenon of granting music began in the Zhou Dynasty,developed from Han Dynasties to North and South Dynasties,and was established in the Tang Dynasty.It played an irreplaceable role in the strict ritual and music system.The content of granting music in the Tang Dynasty was gradually improved,forming a grant pattern of "Guchuiyue Music-Nvyue Music-Jiaofang Music and other folk musics".Gradually completing the institutionalization of the act of granting music in the Tang Dynasty,giving it ritual significance related to Nvyue Music by standardizing the use system of Guchuiyue Music and Nvyue Music.This thesis is divided into four chapters to study the system of granting music in Tang Dynasty.The first chapter mainly sorts out the historical evolution of the system of granting music in Tang Dynasty.Through the combing of the development of the system of granting music from Zhou Dynasty to Tang Dynasty,it presents the development of the system of granting music before Tang Dynasty in China;The second chapter classifies the content of bestowed music in the Tang Dynasty,and divides them into three categories: "Guchuiyue Music","Nvyue Music","other folk musics",and discovers the basis of the bestowed music system in the Tang Dynasty The grades and identities are different,and the music of different specifications is awarded;the third chapter discusses the nature of the music given in the Tang Dynasty,expounds the etiquette process of Guchuiyue Music,Nvyue Music in the Tang Dynasty,and analyzes the nature of folk music such as Jiaofang Music;the fourth chapter This chapter analyzes the function and significance of granting music in the Tang Dynasty,summarizes the three major functions of the granting music system in Tang Dynasty,and explores the contribution and cultural value of the granting music system in the Tang Dynasty to the development of ritual music in the Central Plains.
