A Study On The Occult Writing Of Zuo Zhuan From The Perspective Of "The Nexus Between The Mandate Of Heaven And Humankind"

Zuo Zhuan has always been valued by the academic community for its rich and comprehensive record of events.Its collection and selection of various historical materials and comprehensive grasp of historical narration have created a narrative tradition of historical biography literature.This article selects the supernatural phenomena such as ghosts and gods,catastrophes,astrological eclipses,divination prophecies,and demon dreams in Zuo Zhuan,and places them under the threshold of "the boundary between heaven and man".Based on the text and the background of the times,it explores the true intention and the idea of the unity of heaven and man behind the writing of the supernatural phenomena in Zuo Zhuan,as well as the moral and ethical pursuit of "combining virtue to achieve the destiny of heaven".This article mainly consists of an introduction and five chapters of the text:The introduction mainly discusses the purpose,specific significance,and research methods of selecting this topic,and summarizes the current research situation of the disaster writing in Zuo Zhuan.The first chapter combs the theory of the relationship between heaven and man before the Warring States period.From the beginning of primitive society,the idea of heaven and man gradually appeared in the thinking system of ancestors.With the development of the Three Dynasties and the Spring and Autumn Period,it became more deeply rooted and gradually combined with the phenomenon of "disaster and abnormality",forming the unique idea in ancient Chinese society of warning the world with "disaster and abnormality" and pursuing the unity of heaven and man.The second chapter clarifies the concept and types of "disaster and abnormality" in Zuo Zhuan.Disaster and abnormality" in Zuo Zhuan refers to the omen or warning of various human phenomena by the gods in heaven,mainly reflected in two aspects: "natural disaster" and "man-made disaster".Among them,"disaster" refers to various natural disasters and natural disasters,such as insect disasters,fires,floods,and other natural celestial phenomena that directly cause large-scale harm to humans,as well as unusual phenomena such as solar eclipses and astrological anomalies."Heterogeneity" refers to various bizarre events that occur in human affairs,mainly including four aspects: tortoise divination,dream and image,everything behaves strangely,and physiognomy prophecy."Disasters" and "differences" together represent the will of heaven to exert influence on personnel,profoundly affecting the development of the theory of disasters and differences in later generations.The third chapter explores the causes of the disaster in Zuo Zhuan.Firstly,influenced by the cultural tradition of the same origin in the history of witchcraft,Zuo Zhuan contains many mysterious and exaggerated bizarre events.Secondly,during the Spring and Autumn Period,the belief in ghosts and gods still occupies a central position in society,and the description of disasters in Zuo Zhuan is an inevitable product of historical background.Finally,the historical poetics thought of "history contains a poetic heart" makes Zuo Zhuan not only a historical history book,but also a literary work,in which the depiction of disasters is the embodiment of its literary value.The fourth chapter analyzes the pre narration art of the disaster writing in Zuo Zhuan.Pre narration is one of the important means of expression in the literary narration of Zuo Zhuan.When describing" disasters ",especially" differences in personnel ",the method of pre narration is often used.First,a prediction of disasters is used to indicate the future trend of a country or individual,which is later verified.This not only enhances the integrity and logic of the narrative,but also enriches the character characteristics of the characters,adding to the literary and interesting nature of the text.".The fifth chapter discusses the specific functions of disaster writing in Zuo Zhuan.First of all,the description of disasters in Zuo Zhuan shows the development of the concept of heaven and man during the Spring and Autumn Period.Secondly,the predictive function of Zuo Zhuan reveals the concept of causality and fatalism in Zuo Zhuan.Finally,the Zuo Zhuan disaster is the embodiment of the fate and morality,undertaking the mission of persuading the good and punishing the evil,in order to admonish the world to "respect the Heavenly Way,cultivate moral integrity," and achieve the goal of enlightenment.
