Musical Analysis And Research On Performing Practice Of Flute Musical Composition Flute And Drums At Sunset

Originally as an archaic musical composition for the Pipa,the name of Flute and Drums at Sunset has been firstly seen in Textual Research on Contemporary Music written by Yao Xie,a scholar at the time of the Qing Dynasty,as it is a lyrical and comfortable Pipa musical composition with the graceful melody.A large number of composers and performers such as Li Yinghai,Liu Yaozhang,Tan Mizi and Yin Biao has achieved their transplanting composition and rearrangement for this musical composition,including piano music,national orchestral music,flute music,guitar music,and many other different forms of musical instruments.It is worth noting that the corresponding performing skills can be used to show the romantic charm of national music in Flute and Drums at Sunset,and then show the musical images of this musical composition,such as a wonderful night in spring as well as the sunset,even though the transplanting rearrangement for this musical composition is achieved on the Western instruments.The paper takes the author’s personal performing practical experiences as a starting point,to study the performance of the flute musical composition Flute and Drums at Sunset on the bamboo flute,and make the analysis about this musical composition from the perspectives of music structure as well as aesthetics of traditional Chinese national music,study the skills of flute performance used by the composers in their transplanting composition of this musical composition,including keystroke and harmonics,as the use of these performance skills makes the flute performance able to imitate the performing features of Chinese national musical instruments,to reserve the musical image in archaic music.The performing core of this musical composition can be seized better through the analytical research on it,to perfectly show the musical image in this musical composition for the expression of romantic charm in Chinese musical compositions.
