| Industrial painting,as a forgotten painting theme,accuses of a buried history,and painting as an image is a silent proof of this history.It depicts the evolutionary history of human industry,and it is also a "history of oppression" of the bottom workers.The author has extracted four levels of the theme of "oppression" from the entire Western industrial theme painting from a humanistic perspective and in the way of knowledge archaeology,corresponding to four chapters in turn.From human-machine confrontation in the machine era to environmental issues left over from that era;From the shackles of industry and capital on workers to the question of fate.This article describes the presentation and characteristics of these "different levels of repression" in the screen,reflecting on the complex relationship between industry,people,and the times.In the post industrial era dominated by information technology,industrial manufacturing is still an important part of production and life,and the attention and research on industrial theme paintings still have enlightenment significance today.The author summarizes,sorts out,and studies Western industrial theme paintings from a new perspective,and conducts oil painting based on this research,with a view to causing people to think more and interpret industrial theme paintings. |
