The Art Research Of Director Lin Chaoxian

With the development of Chinese films,Hong Kong and the mainland signed the mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement(CEPA).Many Hong Kong directors,including Lin Chaoxian,cooperated with the mainland to produce outstanding works.In view of this phenomenon,this paper takes Lin Chaoxian’s films after cooperation with the mainland as the main research object,focusing on the creative characteristics of his films,and analyzes them from the aspects of audio-visual composition,drama characteristics,style characteristics and shooting techniques.At the same time,combined with the audio-visual language and other theoretical knowledge,this paper puts forward the characteristics of his film creation in the role building,structural narrative,lens use,red violence aesthetics and violence presentation form,and tells how the director shows the violence aesthetics through audio-visual,so as to highlight the appeal of the film.By analyzing the artistic characteristics of Lin Chaoxian’s films,we can clearly see the evolution of Chinese films.The continuous development of genre films is mainly reflected in the expansion of local action films,police and bandit films and new mainstream blockbusters.Secondly,under the influence of Hong Kong films,Lin Chaoxian’s inheritance and development of violence aesthetics has brought strong visual experience to the audience.Through in-depth analysis of the director’s light,shadow and color shaping and rich and varied shooting skills,this paper summarizes the artistry and appreciation of Lin Chaoxian’s films,and explores the influence of Lin Chaoxian’s films on the aspects of humanistic care and the image of his family and country in combination with the theme of the film,It not only enriches the connotation of the film,but also makes a certain contribution to the Chinese film.
