An Image Of Tea In A Song Dynasty Painting

Tea event images refer to the paintings related to tea event activities,specifically referring to the images representing tea event activities in a visual way,The tea images in this paper are limited to flat paintings painted on paper or silk.Because it has not yet been verified,Tea painting can be the basis of a separate painting genre,Therefore,in this paper,the painting works depicting tea events are called tea events images.Through the accumulation of the Tang Dynasty,the Song Dynasty economy and commercial trade more developed,open social atmosphere,so that the visual aesthetic culture has been fully developed.This paper first discusses the relevant contents of tea drinking culture and political and economic factors in Song Dynasty,and explains the promoting effect of tea life and social system in Song Dynasty on tea image generation.Then it explores the visual composition and connotation construction,aesthetic concept and visual rhetoric of tea images in the paintings of the Song Dynasty,and discusses the unique diversified visual implications of tea images.Finally,it discusses the multiple forms of tea images in Song Dynasty and their influence on later generations,analyzes the motif of some classic tea pictures,and discusses that tea images in Song Dynasty paintings provide schema reference for later painters to transfer models,and tea images can be used as image evidence for academic research.The images of tea events in the Song Dynasty reappear the development and evolution of tea culture,as well as the material and ideological culture of the Song Dynasty,and become the image historical materials reflecting the society of the Song Dynasty.Therefore,this paper aims to discuss the multiple humanistic connotation and social history contained in the image of tea in the Song Dynasty through the interpretation of the visual composition and rhetorical devices contained in the image of tea,and then clarify the image evidence history of tea in the Song Dynasty,arousing the value of scholars’ research on the image itself.
