Musical Composition And Performance Analysis Of The Erhu Piece "Lanhuahua Narrative

Since the 1980s,with the continuous efforts of outstanding composers such as Liu Wenjin,Guan Ming,Wu Houyuan,and Wang Jianmin,the content,style,and performance skills of erhu works have been enriched,and many excellent erhu works have emerged.These different types of erhu works were presented to the public,and the erhu art began to develop rapidly.The erhu song "Orchid Flower Narrative" was composed by the famous composer Mr.Guan Ming in 1981 based on a true story,which is an erhu work with characters,stories,and plots.It is based on the traditional northern Shaanxi folk song "Orchid Flower",which describes the tragic experience and tenacious resistance of the protagonist Orchid Flower in love during that feudal era.This music has triggered people’s thinking about liberating their minds and obtaining freedom.Its melody has a strong style and adopts the Western sonata style,using a combination of modern creative methods.The music can be said to be one of the most representative erhu works,which is worthy of our in-depth study and learning.This article will focus on in-depth research and analysis of the music composition,musical structure,performance analysis,and emotional expression of the music from the perspective of the creative background,musical style,fully learning and understanding the style characteristics of music in northern Shanxi and the true feelings contained in the work itself,and integrating the performance techniques of the music with musical emotions,To enable erhu learners to better understand the creative background and deep meaning of "Orchid Narrative",in order to better perform "Orchid Narrative",and provide theoretical assistance for erhu learners studying and analyzing the music "Orchid Narrative".
