Research On Auspicious Beast Sculpture Of CAI’s Ancient Dwelling House

This paper takes the sculpture of auspicious theme of CAI’s ancient folk houses in Quanzhou as the starting point,deeply explores the types and artistic characteristics of relevant sculptures,traces back to the ancient and discusses the present,and forms a relatively complete set of inheritance and development vein diagram of Sculpture of auspicious theme of CAI’s ancient folk houses.Thus excavate the cultural connotation and practical significance behind the sculpture.The author puts forward two main arguments: first,CAI’s ancient dwellings promoted the inheritance and development of auspicious sculpture in southern Fujian;Second,CAI’s ancient folk house auspicious sculpture is one of the containers of southern Fujian spiritual concept.Based on the above research,the author integrates the essence of auspicious sculpture of CAI’s ancient folk houses into his own sculpture creation,realizes the mutual penetration and integration of theory and practice,and creates works with more aesthetic value and cultural connotation with Southern Fujian characteristics,so that traditional culture is full of new vitality in today’s society.
