| In the Wei Jin South and North Dynasty,bhikshuni began to officially appear on the stage of Chinese Buddhist history,through continuous development,the number of bhikshunis in the monk group was increasing,the activities inside and outside the church were becoming more and more frequent,and their influence in social culture was expanding.Bhikshuni Biographies compiled by Shi Baochang of Liang Dynasty is a comprehensive biography of monk history centered on Buddhist bhikshuni.It is also the only Buddhist biography in the Tibetan Sutra.It has a unique position in the history of Buddhist Monk Biography.This paper analyzes and studies its era atmosphere,historian’s quality and style arrangement from the perspective of historiography.To a certain extent,the compilation of the biography of bhikshuni was influenced by the overall academic atmosphere of the society at that time and the compilation style of historical books.Its style arrangement and content writing method are bound to be affected by the traditional compilation method of historical biography,As a monk history biography,this characteristic makes it different from the purpose and way of compiling other history books.By systematically combing the compilation arrangement of the Bhikshuni Biographies,we can better highlight the characteristics and innovation of the compilation method of the Bhikshuni Biographies,and intuitively reflect the historical thought of the compilation of the biography of buddhist monk.As the only monk historian in the history of Buddhism who established a biography for the two monks of bhikshuni,his compilation thought has an important influence on the compilation history of Monk Biography,Based on the text analysis of the Bhikshuni Biographies,this paper puts the compilation of the second biography of monks and nuns into the development process of the compilation of biographies of monks,and shows the position and influence of the compilation thought of monks and nuns in the history of the compilation of biographies of monks. |
