Research On Emotional Expression Of Documentaries About Vulnerable Groups

Emotion is an important source for audiences to meet their deep spiritual needs.During the production of documentaries on vulnerable groups,the emotion expression is conducive to better expressing the personalities of the characters,helping the audiences to understand the meaning of theme,as well as the humanistic care hidden in it,thus achieving the effect of shocking the souls.The graduation work "Repairing Life" focuses on a physically disabled electrical repair master,and reflects the current social situation by recording the character’s intrinsic persistence and optimism,arousing audiences to think about the meaning of life.In this article,we concentrate on the emotional expression of documentaries on vulnerable groups,and utilize literature analysis,comparative analysis and case analysis to evaluate the emotional communication strategies of these documentaries.First of all,the concept of vulnerable groups is defined,and the different ways and emotional presentation effects of bottom-level creation in Chinese documentaries are sorted out.Secondly,based on the importance of emotional expression in character building,theme improvement,and humanistic care conveying,combined with problems and thinking in practice,the experience of emotional expression in documentaries on vulnerable groups is summarized.Finally,according to the individual characteristics of vulnerable groups,we reflect on the ethical relationship between the creators and the subjects in current documentary creation,in order to provide a certain reference for documentaries in the future.
