| During the Five Dynasties and the Song Dynasty,Hangzhou was the capital of the state,making it a political and economic center during this period.The development of politics and economy brought about the development of people’s life and culture.According to archaeological research,the primitive celadon,which was formed as early as the Shang and Zhou dynasties,reached its peak during the Five Dynasties and the Song dynasties,when technology and production progressed,and social stability led to changes in people’s lifestyles.characteristics.Animal forms were used in large numbers on celadon,both for decoration and to enhance the artistry of the ceramics,and to reflect the cultural characteristics of folk customs.This custom is both from the totem worship left behind by primitive human society,with a certain religious cultural color,but also reflect the animal gathering in southern China at that time,the richness of the products and exotic color characteristics.As mentioned above,the use of animal forms in celadon plays an important role in both artistry and humanism.In this paper,through the methods of image analysis,typology and comparative analysis,the animal patterns of celadon unearthed in Hangzhou during the Five Dynasties and the Two Song dynasties are compiled,analyzed,and studied.In the hope that the excavated celadon animal decorations can be used to study the cultural exchanges in Hangzhou during the Five Dynasties and the Two Song dynasties. |
