Helping behavior as a pro-society behavior, have received much attention over the years. In recent years, scholars at home and abroad have explored the motivation of helping behavior through rodents into a hotspot.Empathy, reducing personal distress and desire for social contact are considered to be a motive for rodents to help. This study improved the two chambers of Carvalheiro et al.(2019)to help behavior experimental devices,a chamber is added to manipulate the possibility of social contact with the assisted rat after the free rat implements the help behavior and the possibility of the free rat reducing personal distress by escaping from the situation in the process of helping decision-making,and then exploring the motivation of the help behavior. In the study,we repeated the experimental experiments, using 2(experimental handling:social contact,no social contact)× 4(restrictions are trapped: empty cages, familiar knots, strange mouse, toy rats)two-factor mixed experimental design, investigation in the context of in differentness, social contact on help behavior. The results show that:(1)In the case of social contact, with the increase of experimental testing, the free rat maintains a shorter opening delay, will help faster.Without social contact, with the increase of experimental testing, the door opening of the free rat becomes long until the free rat no longer makes help;(2)Help behavior does not change due to being familiar with another rat(3)rat preferences were interacting with conspecies(familiar rats or strange rats)rather than objects(toy rats). At the study,in order to explore whether the helping behavior of rats was for mitigating personal distress,we provided the dark room to mitigate personal distress. The study uses2(experimental treatment: social contact,no social contact)× 4(restriction is difficult:empty cage, familiar rat, strange rat,toy rat)Two factors mixed experimental design. The results showed that:(1)As the number of tests increases, the free rat in the social contact group maintain a shorter opening delay, and the faster happening, the opening of the free rat without a social contact group becomes long;(2)The existence of the dark room will help the continuous opening of the non-social contact group, delay the social contact group help behavior, but is the important motivation to help behavior is social contact;(3)The social contact group and the non-social contact group have no significant differences in the dark room;(4)Social contact group helping behavior does not change due to being trapped rat,no social contact group in empty cages and toy rat conditions The opening latency is significantly shorter than those of the mouse and strange mouse;(5)rat preferences are interacting with conspecies instead of objects. In the study,we focus on the impact of the previous experience to help behavior, research adopts 2(experimental processing: social contact,no social contact)× 2(Social contact experience: Social contact experience,no social contact experience)× 4 Limitors are difficult to treat: empty cages, familiar knots, strange mouse, toy rats × 3(test period:pre-period,medium,late)multi-factor mixed experimental design. The results showed that:(1)In the case of escaping, with the increase in the number of tests, the social contact group maintains a faster opening speed, and the opening latency of the unoccupied group is gradually extended;(2)Before the trapped experience The impact of helping behavior;previous social contact experience has helped continuous opening behavior without social contact groups;(3)Help behavior does not change due to being familiar with troubles. On the basis of this paper and the former studies, our trials put forward the motivation circle model of helping behavior. Its core is composed of different simple mechanisms, and the outside is a more advanced cognition. In this model, higher level help motives are based on the inner layer(including speaking, reducing personal pain and social contact desire). The core of the kernel, reducing personal pain and social contact desire motivation is not explaining the overall compliance with social rules or self-realization,but supports these need to be more advanced cognitive psychological components and is conducive to the occurrence of homogeneration. In summary, under this study, the following conclusions were obtained:(1)Social contact desires is a powerful driving force for help behavior regardless of whether the escape is exist.(2)A total of context is a situation, and the empathy is not always able to promote help behavior.(3)Reduce personal distress is the motivation of helping behavior, but whether to help is largely affected by the social contact.Reducing personal distress helps continuous opening behavior without social contact groups, affecting social contact groups.(4)The previous social contact experience facilitating helping behavior but be trapped experience can’t help.(5)Help behavior does not change because it is familiar with the wrong rat.(6)Rat preferences in social contact with conspecies(familiar rats, strangers),rather than objects(toy rats).
