In recent years,the rise of independent art animation in China has rekindled confidence in the domestic animation industry.As one of the forms of China’s independent art animation,"poetic animation" aims at promoting the construction of a cultural power,telling Chinese stories well,and strengthening cultural soft power."Poetic animation" closely revolves around the eastern and western poetic theories as the core of creation,nonlinear narrative as the main narrative structure,and poetic scenes as the main body of the picture,which has become a unique animation form different from other types of animation.In order to promote and improve the reference value of "poetic animation" in overseas communication and thus implement the core concept of establishing cultural confidence,the article attempts to use the concept of "threshold space" rising overseas to collide and blend with the creation of "poetic animation",and on this basis tries to explore and explain some abstract issues in "poetic animation" with the help of the "liminal space" perspective,Then promote more domestic and foreign animation to participate in the creation of "poetic animation".This paper is divided into five parts,including one chapter introduction and four main chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly puts forward and thinks about whether "poetic animation" should be defined at the present stage and whether it is appropriate to study "poetic animation" in the "liminal space" perspective.Through the collection and research of the research status at home and abroad,it determines the feasibility of studying "poetic animation" in the "liminal space" perspective.The second chapter,based on the collected theoretical knowledge,clarifies the discussion scope of "poetic animation" and its creation at the present stage,explains the concept of "liminal space" and the attribute characteristics of "liminal space" aesthetic works.The third chapter analyzes the creative motivation of "poetic animation" and "liminal space" aesthetic works from the perspective of unconsciousness,so as to build the connection between them and pave the way for the author’s subsequent research.The fourth chapter takes Takovsky’s "poetic film" and the domestic creator’s "poetic animation" as examples,starting from the theoretical knowledge of creation,and elaborates the creative thinking of "poetic animation" in the perspective of "liminal space" from the perspective of theme,method and application value.Among them,the theme of creation in the perspective of "liminal space" is the key content of the article.In order to elaborate in more detail the sense of fear and oblivion of "liminal space" as the theme of creation of "poetic animation",the author introduced the multi-dimensional thinking of Lacan’s "object" gaze thought,Benjamin’s ruins thought,and "object grief" thought.In the fifth chapter,the article implements the author’s own creation,and applies the theory based on the previous chapters to the creation practice,so as to test the theoretical results of this study and the difficulty of realization.To sum up,the article combines a few psychological theories and tries to analyze the commonalities between "poetic animation" and "liminal space" aesthetic works,and based on Chinese poetic thoughts and western poetic philosophy,it makes independent thinking and analysis of the multi-dimensional creative thinking of "poetic animation" in the perspective of "liminal space",thus providing a new reference direction for China’s independent artistic animation to go abroad and enhance international cultural competitiveness.
