| Successful interpretation depends on the ability to quickly and accurately acquire the information of the source language speech.As the first step of interpretation,listening comprehension has a great influence on the output of the interpreter.In this article,the writer analyzes the case of ‘metaverse’ conference to study the problem of listening comprehension.Based on the research of domestic and foreign scholars,this paper firstly defines the definition and importance of listening comprehension and points out the characteristics of listening comprehension in KoreanChinese simultaneous interpreting,then analyzes the causes of listening comprehension,last proposes strategies to improve it.In this case,the causes of listening comprehension problems can be divided into lexical level,logical level and energy distribution level.Lexical level includes unfamiliarity with the meaning of words,insufficient background knowledge.Logical level includes too long definite words leading to unclear logic,too long sentences leading to unclear logic.Energy distribution level includes too much concentration on the translation language,too much concentration on the material.The countermeasures that can be taken include shadowing,extraction of sense groups,rational distribution of energy,and strengthening of preparation before interpretation.The writer hopes to provide reference for other interpreters through the cases in this article and enrich the research in related fields. |
