Research On Xunzi's Views On The Group And The Individual And Its Contemporary Valu

As an important treasure in the treasury of traditional group self-thought,Xunzi’s opinion on the relationship between individual and group played a key role in maintaining the stability of ancient society for a long time.At a time when we are better building a harmonious socialist society and building a modern and powerful socialist country in an all-round way,we need a stable and orderly social environment and harmonious relations among all parties.Therefore,we must attach importance to the relationship between individual value and social value,individual interests and collective interests,and properly handle and coordinate the relationship between self and society.Although the times are constantly evolving,and the society we live in is obviously different from the society in which Xunzi lives,this cannot deny the essence contained in Xunzi’s opinion on the relationship between individual and collective.Therefore,the system combed Xunzi’s view of the group and self,and fully explored the views and methods that are beneficial to the handling of the relationship between the group and the self,in order to provide enlightenment and experience for the construction of a harmonious socialist society and the realization of the Chinese dream.This paper uses the methods of literature research and comparative research to systematically sort out and summarize Xunzi’s point on the ties between individual and group,and deeply explore its contemporary value.The whole paper contains four chapters,the introduction and the main text,the introduction part mainly expounds the purpose and significance of the selected topic,domestic and foreign research trends,innovation points and research methods.The first chapter mainly discusses the origin and background of Xunzi’s idea on the ties between individual and collective.Firstly,from a macro perspective,the context of the correlation between individual and group is sorted out,and the formation process of the ties between individual and group is clarified.Secondly,it focuses on how the Xunzi’s perspective on the relational between individual and group came about,and elaborates from the social background of the birth of the theory and the theoretical essence of predecessors.In the second chapter,refine and summarize its basic content.Firstly,defines the concepts of "group" and "individual" in Xunzi’s period,and introduce the meaning of "collective" and "individual" understood by Kongzi and Mengzi With the help of comparative research methods in order to clearly grasp the connotations of "group" and "individual" in Xunzi’s idea on the ties between individual and group.Secondly,the ideal group-self relationship model constructed by it is summarized,and on this basis,it is specifically discussed from the two dimensions of value and benefit.Finally,based on the premise that there is a contradiction between the group and itself,Xunzi’s method of optimizing the conflict contradiction between the group and itself is summarized.Based on the basis of the first two chapters,the third part of the main text mainly uses a dialectical point of view to objectively evaluate Xunzi’s argument on the relationship between individual and collective,and while paying attention to the rich theoretical essence it contains,it also notes some shortcomings.The fourth chapter discusses the contemporary value of Xunzi’s opinion on the correlation between individual and group,based on the existing integration between Xunzi’s and Marxist’s,and concludes that it not only provides guidance for us to accurately understand the relationship between individual and society,but also provides a path for coordinating contradictions and conflicts between individual and society,and affirms the positive role of Xunzi’s opinion on the relationship between individual and collective in promoting the common development of individuals and society.
