Due to the complex environment and arduous protection work of ancient murals,in order to protect and publicize relevant cultural relics in a sustainable way,the research and innovation of digital protection and utilization of cultural heritage protection has always been paid attention to.Through the combination of artistic innovation and scientific seriousness, the digital display of cultural relics promotes the dissemination of cultural heritage and its related knowledge and information, and creates a number of new designs, new art and new works based on historical and cultural heritage. In the era of continuous innovation of communication media and methods, the virtual technology including modeling and human-computer interaction in the digital display of cultural relics is an important means to achieve the design goal. The innovation of technology means the innovation of form.Art forms such as serious games and dynamic film and television works have begun to enter the field of digital display of cultural relics. The combination innovation of content and form has created the "out-circle" of cultural relics again and again, and enhanced the effectiveness of cultural heritage communication. In this context, the relevant works will inevitably match the excellent examples in this art form, such as pursuing better visual experience, creating fresh interaction and gameplay, telling more compelling stories, etc.,and on the basis of maintaining the effective and accurate transmission of scientific information about cultural heritage, they will approach the excellent works in the industry.Mural is attached to other objects as painting art.Different from three-dimensional cultural relics,it pays attention to the texture performance of the plane in digitization. In virtual production, the surface effect is mainly handled by the material, and in order to maximize the texture of the mural,it is necessary to refer to the real physical characteristics of the mural to create the material,so as to achieve as real as possible visual effects.Guided by the principle of PBR(Physical Based Rendering),the diachronic dynamic effect simulation design of mural is taken as the breakthrough point to study the new means and new content of digital display design of mural cultural relics.According to the PBR principle in virtual production, the application advantages and prospects of this principle are analyzed from three perspectives: the digital narrative of cultural relics, the standardized design in the digital display of cultural relics, and the planar historical subject in the virtual production, and the diachronic display design framework of mural cultural relics is established. The two parts of mural dynamic diachronic effect design and mural disease material system design are taken as digital display design module cases, and their results are tested.Adding PBR theory to guide the digital cultural display design of mural cultural relics can effectively organize the archaeological research results of cultural heritage and the innovation results of art experience, connect the cultural and art experience, promote the digitization of mural cultural relics and the integration of wider media media, and improve the communication efficiency of the digital display of mural cultural heritage.Using PBR principle to guide the digital display design of mural cultural relics can quickly build the texture and structure of mural cultural relics in the digital world, expand the timeline set in mural cultural relics, deepen the scientific cognition of cultural relics through artistic and gamified means, and build digital assets with the perspective of cultural relic science popularization research that can be applied to film, television, games and other fields.
