Abstract/Summary:
In this paper,we will study the new performance techniques that are common in contemporary flute works since the 20 th century,classify them in a more systematic way,and from personal practice and performance experience,sort out the practice methods,steps and performance difficulties,and try to explore the main points of modern flute performance techniques from them.The body of the thesis consists of three parts: the first chapter explores the basic principles of modern flute technique by summarizing the five vocal principles of lips,tongue,vocal cords,fingering and breath;the second chapter classifies modern flute technique according to the five principles described above and proposes specific practice steps and methods;the third chapter selects a modern flute piece,Sungji Hong’s “Vidimus Stellam”.It is hoped that through the study and organization,the author will be able to learn modern flute playing techniques in a clearer and more focused manner in the future,so as to continue to broaden his skills in flute playing and improve his playing ability and style grasp.
