| Epitaph,as a product of the Chinese funeral system,has gone through a long period of time from its origin to development,and has its distinctive characteristics in different historical periods.However,they basically maintain the format of recording the identity,lineage,and life history of the tomb owner.It is of historical value to carry out related collation research on epitaphs.In the 5,000-year history of the Chinese nation,the Yuan Dynasty inherited the Song Dynasty and the Ming and Qing Dynasties.As a unified dynasty established by ethnic minorities,it has its own characteristics compared with the dynasties established by the traditional Han ethnic group.In the legal system The performance above is particularly prominent.The laws and regulations of the Yuan Dynasty formed a legal system with ethnic characteristics on the basis of inheriting the Tang Law,Song Law,and Jin Law and referring to the national system.The form combined with administrative decrees embodies legal provisions and also has the characteristics of Mongolian minority customary law.The records of the life stories of the tomb owners in the epitaphs of the Yuan Dynasty can more truly reflect their specific handling of legal incidents in the grassroots social governance,and can clearly reflect the specific implementation of the laws of the Yuan Dynasty in actual governance and application conditions.Therefore,in this paper,the legal historical materials in the Chinese epitaphs of the Yuan Dynasty are sorted by the death year of the tomb owner,classified according to the temple name and year of the emperor of the Yuan Dynasty,the article classifies and organises the legal the temporal and spatial distribution of the epitaph historical materials is analysed,and the legal historical materials of the epitaphs are sorted out.The "List of Legal and Historical Materials on Han Epitaphs in the Yuan Dynasty" is attached at the end of the article for reference. |
