| The Italian composer Ferruccio Busoni is recognized as one of the representatives of neoclassical music in the 20 th century, and in 1907,Busoni published a pamphlet entitled "Outline of New Music Aesthetics",which attempted to give a comprehensive exposition of the technical and aesthetic foundations of new music in the twentieth century, which greatly influenced the young composers of the time.In his " Essay on the Aesthetics of New Music ",Busoni describes a method of forming a new scale, which comes from the modification of the natural major scale, using the C natural major scale as the basic scale,by gradually increasing or decreasing the interval distance between two adjacent scales to obtain the maximum possibility of a seven-tone scale in an octave, thus constructing the " 113 scale ".This paper analyzes the construction principle, structure, and relationship between the "113 scales" and its application in musical works based on the "113scale" transformed by Busoni and the new scales obtained by synthesizing the "113 scales",and analyzes the use of the new scales created by Busoni in the "Second Little Sonata".Starting from related music theory and specific musical works, this paper explores the theory and application of "113 scales" and new scales, mainly in the following aspects: 1.Introduction and music creation of composers;2.Discuss the composition principle, structure and relationship of the "113 scale";3.Discuss the use of "113 scales" in works;4.Discuss the source, structure and characteristics of the new scale;5.Discuss chords derived and constructed from new scales;6.Discuss the practical use techniques of derived materials. |
