A Study Of The Singing Of The Aria"oluce Di Quest’ Anima"-

Donizetti,as one of the three greats of Italian opera,has composed a large number of popular works.The aria "O luce di quest’anima",with its beautiful melody and splendid florid technique,shows the innocence of the heroine Linda and her beautiful desire for love in the best way.In this paper,the main study of "O luce di quest’anima" sung by soprano Sumi Jo focuses on the grasp of florid techniques and the expression of emotion and characterization,and finally analyzes the important and difficult points with her own singing experience and proposes solutions to better grasp its musical direction and connotation,so as to better apply it to the singing practice.
