As a folk song of northern nomadic people,Chile Song has a high ideological and artistic value.It is a topic discussed and studied by a lot of scholars in the literary circle.As traditional culture was paid attention to in China,new artistic vitality was given to this work that only had lyrics after lyrics adding,music composing,and singing by Tan Weiwei in the program Everlasting Classics.Later,Wu Mengxue covered this work in the 12^thGolden Bell Award Competition,so that it drew widespread attention and was sung in the vocal music circle.This paper takes the ethnic features of Chile Song as the entry point;makes an in-depth analysis on the cultural connotation,musical connotation,version analysis,musical performance,and others of the vocal music work;and explores the performance method of this song.
