Vocabulary ability is a basic and necessary skill for junior high school students in their learning and life.There are some problems in cultivating junior high school students’ English vocabulary ability in traditional classrooms.This article uses this as a starting point for research,drawing on the advantages of artificial intelligence in vocabulary learning activities such as resources and platform tools,as well as the supporting functions of human teachers and artificial intelligence in different vocabulary learning activities.The purpose of designing appropriate learning activities is to stimulate students’ interest in vocabulary learning by creating authentic vocabulary learning situations,Promote the development of students’ vocabulary ability.Conduct experimental research in projects where researchers follow their mentors to verify the effectiveness of human-computer collaborative learning activities.In the theoretical research section,this study defines the concepts of vocabulary ability and human-computer collaboration,and determines the theoretical support;Summarize the dimensions of vocabulary competence and related research status.Laying the foundation for later research;In the part of learning activity design,based on theoretical research and curriculum standards,we investigate the problems existing in students’ English vocabulary learning,explore the division of labor between human teachers and artificial intelligence in different types of vocabulary learning activities,draw on the advantages and characteristics of existing typical human-computer collaborative vocabulary learning activity design models,and propose design principles and models for human-computer collaborative learning activities starting from learning activities,The model is divided into three steps: learning goal determination,teaching process implementation,and teaching process reflection;After the construction of the model,two classes of Grade 8 with similar learning situations were selected as experimental and control classes to conduct a quasi experimental study to verify the impact of human-computer collaborative learning activities on the development of students’ English vocabulary ability.After the teaching experiment,a comparative analysis was conducted on the vocabulary test scores,questionnaires,and interviews between teachers and students in the experimental and control classes to verify whether human-computer collaborative learning activities can promote the development of junior high school students’ English vocabulary ability,and to summarize the shortcomings and suggestions for improvement in the research process.The results of data analysis show that human-computer collaborative learning activities can promote the development of junior high school students’ vocabulary ability,and students’ learning in three dimensions of word form,word meaning,and application has significantly improved;It can significantly improve students’ vocabulary learning achievements,effectively stimulate students’ motivation for vocabulary learning,and effectively cultivate students’ good learning interest and attitude.Students have a high recognition of human-computer collaborative learning activities,and the teaching efficiency of English teachers in the experimental class has also been significantly improved.After the experiment,the researcher summarized and reflected on the data analysis results during the experiment,and made further research prospects. |
