The Influence Of Vuillard’s Oil Painting Formal Language On The Creation Of The Harmonious Family Series

Vuillard was one of the representative painters of the Nabi School in France in the late 19 th century.In his oil paintings,the formal beauty formed by the combination of formal language has a very strong artistic appeal.In this paper,the author takes the formal language of Vuillard’s oil paintings as the entry point,and on the basis of combining the profound emotional experience of his own family,selects relatives and family environment in daily life as the objects and sources of emotions.In the meantime,through learning from Vuillard’s paintings in the composition,shape,color and space in the form of language rules,use of Vuillard’s paintings in the form of the performance of the language techniques,make myself of the series works presents sweet and auspicious atmosphere,so as to convey the humanistic thinking on the influence of harmonious family relations on the cultivation of correct values.This thesis is divided into four parts except the introduction.Firstly,this paper summarizes the characteristics and influencing factors of the formal language of Vuillard’s oil paintings from the perspective of theory and history by referring to a large number of documents.Secondly,on the basis of the understanding of Vuillard’s oil paintings,it illustrates the conception of creation.The third part of the paper discusses the application of Vuillard’s oil painting formal language in the creation of Harmonious Family series from the perspective of combining theory and practice.At the end of the article is the summary and reflection of the creation practice,which is of great significance for improving one’s own oil painting creation ability and artistic aesthetic ability.
