Abstract/Summary:
The ceramic Buddhist statues of the Northern Song Dynasty are a typical example of the gradual acceptance and transformation of Buddhist art into China,achieving localization and localization.They directly reflect the level of understanding,reverence,and aesthetic characteristics of folk art among the people(mainly the lower class)during the Northern Song Dynasty.This article mainly focuses on the ceramic Buddhist statues of the Northern Song Dynasty,and delves into the artistic and aesthetic characteristics of the ceramic Buddhist statues of the Northern Song Dynasty,as well as their significant impact on the Liao,Jin,and later Southern Song dynasties,in order to reveal their inherent diverse values.The first chapter starts from the overview of the ceramic Buddhist statues in the Northern Song Dynasty,analyzes the external factors that led to the emergence of the ceramic Buddhist statues in the Northern Song Dynasty,and then summarizes the types of the ceramic Buddhist statues in the Northern Song Dynasty,focusing on the statues of Buddha,Bodhisattva,Arhat,warriors,and grinding,drinking and music.The second chapter,on the basis of the first chapter,through the analysis and research of the ceramic Buddhist statues of the Northern Song Dynasty,comprehensively summarizes the artistic characteristics of the ceramic Buddhist statues of the Northern Song Dynasty,that is,the remains of the Tang Dynasty grotto statues,the main modeling of the legs and feet and the sitting posture,reflecting the secularization of Buddhism and Zen Buddhism,and selects the representative important works of the ceramic Buddhist statues of the Northern Song Dynasty to elaborate and demonstrate in detail.Chapter 3 explores the artistic characteristics of ceramic Buddhist statues in the Northern Song Dynasty from four perspectives: color,shape,line,and decoration,in order to grasp the aesthetic characteristics of ceramic Buddhist statues in the Northern Song Dynasty.On the basis of Chapter 2 and Chapter 3,Chapter 4 objectively analyzes the continuation of art in the Liao,Jin,and later Southern Song dynasties from four aspects: the use of plain body coloring,decorative objects,commodity attributes,and cultural atmosphere in ceramic Buddhist statues of the Northern Song Dynasty;Next,we will explore the artistic transformation of the Liao,Jin,and later Southern Song dynasties from three aspects: the appearance characteristics,clothing characteristics,and color characteristics of ceramic Buddhist statues in the Northern Song Dynasty,and explain the reasons for the changes in various aspects.Chapter 5 analyzes the artistic value,Buddhist value,and social value of ceramic Buddhist statues in the Northern Song Dynasty,in order to achieve a comprehensive study of the art of ceramic Buddhist statues in the Northern Song Dynasty.
