Investigation And Study On Traditional Architectural Murals In Southeast Guangxi

Murals play an important role in traditional Chinese architectural decoration,possessing unique functions and values.It has a protective effect of building walls and can create special rendering spaces for the building.At the same time,the composition and form of murals contain rich information such as artistic aesthetics,historical connotations,etiquette and beliefs,which can play an ethical and educational role.Based on the premise of field research,this paper sorts out and analyzes the traditional architectural murals in southeast Guangxi,which is divided into four parts: First,through a series of field research on the traditional architectural murals in southeast Guangxi,combined with their geographical distribution,the number of murals was counted and the carrier analysis was carried out,and the characteristics of current situation traditional architectural murals in southeast Guangxi was summarized in three aspects: wide geographical distribution,rich conservation and diverse carriers.Secondly,research is conducted on the thematic content of traditional architectural murals in southeastern Guangxi from three aspects: subject classification,subject matter content,and painting patterns,with a focus on exploring calligraphy murals.Once again,through the analysis of traditional architectural mural images in southeastern Guangxi,the folk connotations and historical and cultural significance of murals were explained,and the regional mural styles and artist information were sorted and statistically analyzed.At the same time,a comparative analysis of cross regional traditional architectural murals was conducted.Finally,based on the current status of traditional architectural mural protection in southeastern Guangxi,the factors affecting mural preservation were analyzed,and preliminary exploration was conducted on the strategies and mechanisms for mural protection,development,and utilization.Studying traditional architectural murals in southeastern Guangxi can not only supplement the study of traditional architectural decoration art in southeastern Guangxi,but also serve as a starting point for further understanding of Yulin culture and even Lingnan culture.This is the profound meaning and value of this study.
