A Study On The Hypertextual Narrative Of Domestic Interactive Drama

As an important new medium,hypertext has driven a major change in the way electronic information is accessed and transmitted,becoming the basic structural form of digital text and leading the dawn of the hypermedia era;at the same time,the nonsequential and strongly intertextual giant hypertext network constructed by the infinite open link index and interactive reading and writing with audience participation has,to some extent,realized the post-structuralist imagination of ideal text.Interactive drama is an emerging art form in the age of hypermedia,which can interact with the audience through the interactive mode of hypertext.The audience can not only watch but also participate in it,influencing the development of the play through their own choices.The interactive and immersive nature of domestic interactive dramas has had a profound impact on the current media ecology,creating a fused symbiotic relationship between the film and game industries.The interactive features of hypertext and the narrative nature of film and television presentation build a dynamic balance in domestic interactive dramas.The research in this paper focuses on five aspects.First,it gives a summary overview of the concept and characteristics of hypertext and hypertext narrative,the definition,development history and characteristics of interactive drama,and lays the foundation for the subsequent chapters;second,through case studies of existing domestic interactive drama works,it explores the new narrative model of domestic interactive drama from the level of narrative construction by creators;third,with the help of hypertext theory,reception aesthetics and film narrative theory,it elaborates the new narrative model of domestic interactive drama from the level of audience interaction and participation.Fourthly,the study takes the narrative medium of interactive dramas,hypermedia,as the object,clarifies the related concepts,and subdivides the intertextual narratives and crossmedia narratives according to the unique characteristics of large IP adaptations and multiplatform interactions of domestic interactive dramas;Fifthly,the narrative characteristics and aesthetic characteristics of domestic interactive dramas are elaborated by combining the relevant theories of hypertext narratives.Fifthly,it combines the relevant theories of hypertext narrative,elaborates the narrative characteristics and aesthetic features of domestic interactive dramas,summarizes the hypertext narrative strategies of domestic interactive dramas,and provides a reference framework for the narrative research of domestic interactive dramas.
