Fantasy-themed Picture Book "My World" Creation Exploration

The fantasy theme,with its unique imagination,has a significant place in the field of art creation.The influence of fantasy-themed paintings inspired by fantastical ancient mythology is not only reflected in the thematic structure of the text,the narrative,and the evolution of the story,but also has a profound impact on the creation of picture books derived from visual artistic expression.Picture books convey the narrative nature of fantasy stories to readers in their unique and irreplaceable combination of illustration and text.And with a relatively low cost investment,the illustrated form of transmission presents the highly divergent fantasy world in a flat form.This graduation project is based on the market research of fantasy-themed picture books,combined with the theoretical analysis of classic fantasy-themed paintings,and analyzes and researches both the creation of the script and the artistic language of fantasy-themed picture books.The creation report of fantasy-themed picture book "My World" is divided into two parts: the first part shows the final draft of the picture book and part of the creation process;in the second part,firstly,through three ways of network collection,fieldwork and questionnaire survey,the fantasy-themed picture book market has done research with different focuses,and on the basis of determining that the market gradually shifts from quantitative popular works to stylized fine works,this creation is determined In addition,through the analysis of fantasy-themed paintings of different eras,we can bring inspiration to the creation of picture books from five aspects: perspective and space,light and shadow and details,characters and shapes,color and atmosphere,and the symbolic meaning of elements;furthermore,combining the script characteristics and artistic language of fantasy-themed picture books On the one hand,the analysis of the script and artistic language of fantasy-themed picture books will clarify the creative ideas for the script story of "My World",and on the other hand,it will provide reference for the creation of picture books from the perspective of composition,color tone and style.Finally,we will combine the market research and theoretical research to create the fantasy-themed picture book "My World" with the main story line of "I fall into my own world as a child".
