| Prosocial risk-taking behavior refers to the risk-taking behavior carried out by individuals to help others.Teenagers’ physiology gradually matures, their cognitive abilities such as abstraction and reasoning are improved, and their independent behaviors are increased. These changes urge teenagers to consider the interests of others, which may be accompanied by an increase in prosocial risk-taking behaviors.Subjective social status,as an individual’s subjective perception of their resources, can not be ignored in the development of teenagers’ prosocial risk-taking behavior. At the same time, prosocial adventure situations are often accompanied by uncertainty, and individuals’ ability to cope with uncertain situations and the relationship between helpers and helpers will all affect teenagers’ prosocial adventure decisions. In addition, adolescence is an important period for the development of prosocial risk-taking,and the whole development of prosocial risk-taking at this stage can be displayed through its initial level and development rate. Therefore, this study attempts to explore the influence of subjective social status on adolescents’ prosocial risk-taking behavior and the mechanism of fuzzy tolerance and interpersonal intimacy, and explore the development trend of adolescents’ prosocial risk-taking behavior. In the first study,a cross-sectional design was used to explore the relationship between subjective social status and prosocial risk-taking behavior and the mediating role of fuzzy tolerance.By cluster sampling,2001 teenagers were invited to answer the Subjective Social Status Questionnaire,Fuzzy Tolerance Scale and Prosocial Risk-taking Behavior Scale. The results showed that there were significant differences in the development period and gender of prosocial risk-taking behavior among teenagers.Subjective social status can significantly positively predict adolescents’ prosocial risk-taking behavior, and fuzzy tolerance plays a partial intermediary role in it.In the second study,248 teenagers were followed up for one year by longitudinal design, which further verified the development track and interaction mode of subjective social status and prosocial adventure behavior. The results showed that subjective social status and prosocial adventure behavior had a certain growth trend with time, and this trend would fluctuate for a short time due to environmental influence; The initial level of subjective social status can significantly positively predict the initial level and change rate of prosocial risk-taking behavior. In study 3,a 2*3 two-factor mixed experimental design was used to further investigate the moderating effect of interpersonal intimacy between subjective social status and prosocial risk-taking behavior.86 freshmen were invited to participate in the experiment. After their high/low subjective status was activated, they were allowed to perform simulated balloon adventure tasks in three different interpersonal situations. The results show that the main effect of subjective social status is not significant, the main effect of interpersonal intimacy is significant, and the interaction effect between subjective social status and interpersonal intimacy is not significant. This study focuses on the development of adolescents’ prosocial risk-taking,reveals the influence mechanism of subjective social status on prosocial risk-taking,and verifies the continuous development of adolescents’ subjective social status and prosocial risk-taking with time and environmental changes. In the process of guiding teenagers to develop prosocial risk-taking behavior,we should pay attention to improving teenagers’ subjective social status and tolerance of fuzzy situations, and create a healthy development environment for teenagers, which will help them make appropriate prosocial risk-taking decisions and promote the positive development of teenagers’ moral quality. |
