In the 1860 s,with the top-down reform of Russian serfdom, the reduction of centralization, the modernization of the military, and the reform of the law,Russia enjoyed a respite from the complicated international situation, and at the same time, the debate about "musical nationality" also exploded in the Russian music industry. The gradual liberalization of the political atmosphere led the artists to turn their subjects to the new class of Russian citizens.Because of the particularity of Russia’s own political system and national conditions, the shadow of class and power is always filled in Russian music. The autocratic political system and harsh inquisition had a subtle influence on the development of Russian music. The greatest Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s creation involves almost all musical genres and forms, among which symphony creation is in an important position. He inherited the achievements of the development of Russian music since Glinka, and at the same time paid attention to the experience of the development of western European music culture, the high degree of professional skills with the traditional Russian folk music organic combination,to create a dramatic conflict and strong national style of the works.Tchaikovsky’s romantic songs are not too many, but they are very lyrical, emotional, poetic and romantic. The choice of lyrics is very strict, which should not only have rich connotation but also have the rhythm of poetry. This paper collects literatures related to Tchaikovsky’s romantics. In the context of the development of Russian music art, taking Tchaikovsky’s romantic singing as the focus, this paper selects the seventh piece of Tchaikovsky’s romantics op.47,"Leaving the Original Grass",as the entry point,to elaborate his artistic characteristics and singing analysis.
