Digital Painting Practice In Virtual Reality Space

Compared with traditional painting art expression,virtual reality digital painting art expression gives artists a more novel form of expression and brings a broader space for artists to create.After years of development,the forms and media of traditional painting and graphic digital painting tend to be mature and fixed,while the emerging virtual reality painting has just come into people’s attention.As a new thing,it has many limitations.With the maturity of hardware and the decline of price,more and more artists participate in and invest in it,we are experiencing a stage of vigorous development of virtual reality digital painting.The savage growth of technology has provided more creative ways and tools for artistic creation,but also brought many challenges to artists.Based on the development and creation of virtual reality digital painting,this paper discusses the inheritance and reform of painting elements between traditional painting and virtual reality digital painting.At the same time,it completes the comparative study of virtual reality digital painting art and traditional painting based on personal perspective,and draws several points of view.By analyzing Giacometti’s space theory and virtual reality space theory,and copying Monet’s classic paintings,the author draws a conclusion that the two have different ways of space expression and different creation processes.Through the development of virtual reality technology,the logical principle of virtual reality digital painting is systematically sorted out,and the key points of expansion and innovation are explored.It is found that virtual reality digital painting needs to involve a number of technical fields,such as the use of oil painting post-processing effect to computer graphics.In terms of creation,the author conducts virtual reality painting creation,summarizes the techniques and applications of virtual reality painting,understands its application scenarios and future trends,strengthens the study and research of theoretical knowledge,and hopes that this paper will trigger more scholars to conduct in-depth research and exploration on it.
