The same word but different music refers to different versions of song forms created from the same poem as the text,with different tunes and different understandings of the same poem by composers.The two works with the same lyrics but different melodies selected in this article are vocal works composed by two composers,Ao Changqun and Li Yan,with the lyrics of Qingyu Case-New Year’s Eve created by Xin Qiji,a poet of the Southern Song Dynasty in China.The author compares and analyzes the musical characteristics and singing skills of the works,and combines his own experience in learning vocal music and singing experience to more accurately grasp the creative techniques and music style of the works.The purpose of this study is to deepen my understanding of works with the same words and different songs,and lay a solid foundation for better interpretation of works of the same type in the future.It also provides theoretical reference for vocal music learners.This article is composed of four parts: the first part is the analysis of the songwriter and the creation background of Qingyu Case-New Year’s Eve,tracing back to the source,understanding the creation background and cultural connotation of the poetry;The second and third parts are the main body of the thesis,the author through to the song form structure,the accompaniment texture as well as the music style and the singing skill contrast analysis,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the two composers’ Qingyu Case-New Year’s Eve and sums up the similarities and differences,so as to accurately grasp the thoughts,emotions and charm contained in the song The fourth part is about the author’s stage singing practice of the same words and different songs,which aims at sorting out the“Particularity in the universality” of the same words and different songs,and finding the singing way which is more suitable for the song’s emotion,the fifth part is the summary and experience of the author’s personal practice,hoping to provide some theoretical reference for vocal music learners.
