Research On The Emotional Expression Of Character Documentaries

People documentaries are inseparable from "people",everyone is an independent individual in the world,with unique emotions,so character documentaries in the process of creation and expression are inseparable from the emotional construction and expression of "people" as the carrier.Creators should fully grasp the emotional expression of documentary creation,and use audiovisual art and other expression techniques to explore the transmission and expression of characters’ inner emotions.Therefore,on the basis of observing related works and literature review research,the author takes the graduation work "Round Lack" as the research object,focuses on the emotional expression in character documentaries,and studies how the expression of emotions can empower character documentaries.This article consists of four parts and expands on the research.Firstly,it distinguishes character documentaries from other genres of documentaries conceptually,focuses on the importance of emotional expression in character documentaries,and points out that the emotional input of the creator,the emotional outpouring of the photographed and the emotional experience and feedback of the audience are the three elements that constitute the emotional expression of character documentaries.On this basis,from the perspectives of audiovisual language,conception and planning,narrative structure,emotional presentation,etc.,the specific emotional expression methods in personal works are discussed in detail,and strive to express emotions in character documentaries in an all-round way.Finally,it summarizes and reflects on the problems and shortcomings encountered by individuals in the creative process,recognizes the regret of emotional expression in the practice and creation of character documentaries,and strives to provide new reference ideas for the creation concept,emotional structure and development direction of character documentaries in the future.
