The Investigation And Study Of Zhangzi Gushu

Zhangzi Gushu is a kind of folk art mainly popular in Zhangzi County,Shanxi Province,and is also commonly called “Shuoshu” among folk people.In 2011,Zhangzi Gushu was included in the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage list,and is now the most representative folk art in Zhangzi County.Today’s performance form is mainly outdoor stage performance,about 10 people in a performance group,in addition to Performers,there are also small accompaniment bands,Speaking and singing during the performance,using the Zhangzi dialect,widely loved by the public.In the context of today’s rapid social economic development,many traditional folk arts in Zhangzi County have declined,and their development and inheritance have also been affected to a certain extent.However,as one of them,Zhangzi Gushu has not been greatly affected and is still active in Zhangzi County,what is the reason why this folk art has such vigorous vitality? This question is worth exploring.This paper takes Zhangzi Gushu as the research object,analyzes and organizes the field investigation of Zhangzi Gushu’s performance site and various collected materials,to deeply explore this folk art,and analyze and summarize the reasons why it is still so active.The paper is discussed in four aspects,the main contents of each part are as follows:The first part provides an outlined of Zhangzi Gushu,defines the specific concept of Zhangzi Gushu,sorts out the development context of Zhangzi Gushu,and briefly describes the inheritance status of Zhangzi Gushu.The second part,based on field investigation,mainly analyzing the music of Zhangzi Gushu.It involves the three aspects of Zhangzi Gushu’s opening music,singing music and accompaniment music,and summarizes the three characteristics of Zhangzi Gushu’s singing music and accompaniment music: programmatic,flexible and inclusive.The third part,analyzes the performance of Zhangzi Gushu,and analyzes the Specific information of the programmaticity and flexibility of Zhangzi Gushu’s performance from three aspects: performance process,performance form and performance content.Finally,specifically compared the folk Zhangzi Gushu performance with the Zhangzi Gushu performance on the intangible cultural heritage stage.In the fourth part,analyze the reasons for the development and inheritance of the Zhangzi Gushu from aspects such as geographical location,historical culture,and folk traditions,it is under these factors that the Zhangzi Gushu has been developed and inherited.
