The Qiang, one of the oldest ethnic groups in China, have been living in the high mountains and peaks, calling themselves “the people on the clouds”,with their “rocks as rooms” and “living by the mountains”.Due to the lack of written languages, there is no corresponding historical record of ancient music and dance of the Qiang people, but this does not affect the wisdom of the Qiang people to spread their own culture. They have created not only the material wealth for survival, but also rich spiritual wealth during the long years. The Qiang people pass on their culture orally through gatherings, and there is no fixed place to pass on their culture.Qiang folk culture is rich in content, and folk stories, folk songs and proverbs are all in the form of Qiang language as the carrier;the transmission of Qiang language is inseparable from Qiang folk songs,so it can be said that Qiang folk songs are the main way to inherit Qiang culture.Folk songs, the spiritual food of the Qiang people, are the valuable cultural heritage left to us by our ancestors. In Qiang Village, there are frequent interactions among villages, and festival activities are gathered together. The special living environment creates a special regional culture, and various folk songs and dances are passed on orally during the festive gatherings. With the progress of the times and the changes in social development, people’s living conditions have become better and their lifestyles have become more diversified, thus attracting a large number of people living in Qiang villages and cottages to flock to the cities and leave the land of treasures where the Qiang culture was nurtured. With the passage of time, the living environment and state of the Qiang region have also changed greatly, and the original assembly style of transmission is gradually decreasing;some old people who knew and mastered the ancient songs have passed away one after another, coupled with the cultural integration and penetration between ethnic groups,so it is very difficult to keep the original Qiang culture intact. In the first part of the paper, the text will explain the concept of acoustic cavity through the sources, definitions and interpretations of various scholars, and also briefly explain the author’s understanding of acoustic cavity. In addition,on the basis of the theory of acoustic cavity, the author discusses in detail the relationship between acoustic cavity and types, and the relationship between acoustic cavity and forms. The text also uses a classical Qiang folk song “Wine Song” as a whole work for analysis, integrating the acoustic cavity mentioned above into specific works for detailed analysis.
