Research On The Application Of Surrealism Style In Public Welfare Animation Short Film

In the modern social form of graphic,dynamic and interactive information transmission,animation has been applied in many fields with its unique form and aesthetic value.Among them,the combination of animation and public welfare,the emergence of public welfare themed animation works,which innovated a new form of public welfare expression,further promoted the development of public welfare communication.Driven by the Chinese government and mainstream media,although there is no shortage of excellent public welfare animation works,compared with foreign works of the same type,there are still problems such as plain plot,stereotyped plot,strong preaching,lack of innovation,resulting in poor public welfare communication effect.In order to improve the artistry of public welfare animation short films,this paper will integrate surrealism art style into the creation of public welfare animation,enrich the forms of expression of public welfare animation short films,and give them more space for expression.Based on the theoretical research of public welfare animation and surrealism,this paper mainly discusses the involvement of surrealism in the creation of public welfare animation from two aspects.First,in terms of narrative,it breaks the single linear narrative in the previous public welfare animation and replaces it with the non-logical and irrational surrealism.Through the contrast between dream and reality and the multi-dimension of time and space,it shows the contradictory relationship between man and nature.Secondly,in terms of visual expression,surrealistic collage techniques,irrational patchwork techniques and absurd techniques are adopted to set roles,scenes and props,enriching the artistic expression of public welfare animation short films.Further explore more possibilities of surrealism in public welfare animation,and provide reference for the creation of short animation of the same type in the future.
