Research On The Characteristics And Application Of Freehand Sculptur

In recent years,under the strategy of cultural power,sculpture art has been attached importance by all walks of life,and has become an important part of Chinese excellent traditional culture.How to organically combine Chinese traditional culture with freehand sculpture is not only an important subject that the academic circle has been concerned about,but also a big challenge for the majority of sculptors.Traditional sculpture has become the crystallization of Chinese wisdom and civilization with its rich and profound connotation and unique way of expression.However,Chinese rulers in history adopted the policies of "Confucianism as the foundation" and "respecting Confucianism and suppressing Taoism",so that Chinese traditional art was seriously damaged and affected,and its development was stagnated for a time.Therefore,under the background of contemporary society,in-depth research on sculpture art is of great significance to enhance the cultural confidence of the Chinese nation and strengthen the cultivation of contemporary young people’s patriotism.This paper explores the freehand approach and the embodiment of freehand spirit in sculpture art.Freehand approach in sculpture art is a highly concentrated form of artistic thinking that can only be achieved through long-term observation,thinking,analysis,refining,generalization and summary,and finally expresses its connotation spirit through the integration of modeling and space.This paper analyzes the presentation of freehand brushwork techniques in traditional sculpture and modern sculpture,and conducts practical research with the author’s graduation project Sansu in the Northern Song Dynasty,integrating his own thinking and creation to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture,so as to spread the "Sansu culture" widely.In the creation of contemporary sculpture art,the artistic works we need to present cannot be empty,but should be rooted in the excellent traditional Chinese culture to glow with new vitality.Such freehand sculpture art works not only show the precipitation and charm of history,but also a chapter of 5,000 years of history,which needs to be composed by the sculptor.Inherit and carry forward the fine traditional Chinese culture,show the spirit of the big country,and explore the development road of contemporary sculpture creation in China in the new era.
