| Zang Di is one of the most outstanding poets and critics in contemporary China. In his 40-year poetry writing career,Zang Di,with his extraordinary imagination, excellent language sense, superb rhetorical skills and extraordinary writing endurance, has established a huge poetry kingdom of his own and contributed many classic works to the contemporary poetry circle.Zang Di’s poetry writing is based on his poetics of "difference",and explores the generative nature and possibility of language. He gradually turns from "difference" to "other",showing a rare poetic color of hope and reflecting a unique ethical orientation. This paper is devoted to exploring the "other" in Zang Di’s poetry and its ethical orientation in order to fill the gap in the research field of Zang Di’s poetry. The research idea is as follows: In addition to the introduction, the main part of the paper will be composed of three chapters. The first chapter focuses on the very important phenomenon of "difference" and its ethical effects in Zang Di’s poems, mainly in terms of the meaning of his deviation from grand narration and his preference for writing small things.Zang Di’s poetry is the blasting of the thought of identity, showing the attitude of "war against the totality"(Liotar language). He is fascinated by revealing the mystery of everyday life, trying to explore an unprecedented phenomenology of difference in the field of micro perception, and restore the vitality of language and thought, which itself has the effect of ethical liberation. The main reference point of this chapter is not Zang Di’s poetic texts, but a series of poetic papers written by Zang Di as a critic.Through patient interpretation of Zang Di’s poetic thoughts, the importance of the key word "difference" in Zang Di’s poetic ideas and its possible ethical dimension are sorted out.The second chapter will focus on textual analysis to explain how the differences in Zang Di’s poems have intrinsic similarities with the thoughts of Derrida,Levinas,Nancy and other post-structuralist philosophers about "the other",and then point out that the differences in Zang Di’s poems are the radical other in the context of post-structuralism in terms of their irreducibility and unforeseeable fundamental aspects. This other is the deconstruction of the subjective-centered rational hegemony, which rejects all the simple logic of binary opposition, such as truth and representation, soul and body, culture and nature. We cannot even understand this dimension of the other in the sense of ideal intersubjectivity.Instead, the other must be strictly defined as the singularity in the sense of unforeseen arrival(Derrida),something different from being(Levinas),or an event that evades any form of conceptual capture.Zang Di’s poems embody this(language)other with its complex and distinctive language practice, which is the repeated inscription and smear of the trace itself,so it is a kind of writing that is always in an unfinished state. The last chapter,on the basis of summarizing and refining the logic of the previous text, will try to connect the other dimension of Zang Di’s poetry with a radical ethics, that is,the other ethics. This ethic of the other transcends the ethical bond in the sense of traditional community. It does not point to the origin and center of any form,so it cannot guarantee a stable ethical perspective with overall nature for members of the community. On the contrary, the ethics of the other is born out of the irreducible difference between things. It is the pure difference itself, the relationship between all heterogeneous things,or,to follow Blanchot’s classic expression,a "relation without relation".The norm of other ethics is based on this fundamental incommensurability between things, which transcends the traditional rational linear historical view and its causal connection, and leads to an uncalculable and unpredictable ethical dimension. In this regard,we should understand the "universal body" of other ethics from the meaning of Nancy.Nancy deconstructed the solidified and violent side of the "same body" of the traditional "community" with the "universal body" and emphasized that the universal body itself is not ready-made,but only opens the channel in the deconstruction.Even the word "body" should be deleted.Leaving only traces of the common state or channel, the mind turns to how to open the "channel",so as to transcend the traditional pursuit of unity in common and integration.Zang Di’s poems show this ethical perspective of others in the most radical direction,or it can be said that this ethical perspective of others secretly occupies a constitutive core position in Zang Di’s poems, which can be best witnessed by Derrida terms such as "friendship","secret","gift" and "ghost" which frequently appear in his poems. |
