Thoughts And Explorations On The Creation Of Landscape Paintings On The Theme Of Mount Eme

The series Images of Emei takes Mount Emei as the theme,focusing on the "majestic" and "quiet" of Emei.As a famous Buddhist mountain in China,Mount Emei has rich natural resources and cultural deposits.On the one hand,there are towering peaks and continuous groups of natural wonders,which provide rich materials for the creation of landscape painting.On the other hand,with the development of politics,economy and culture,a large number of literary and art workers were attracted to Shu during the Anti-Japanese War.Among them,painting with Mount Emei as the object of expression also achieved considerable development and was paid more attention to.Due to its unique geomorphic features,it has given painters unique materials for expression and produced many new landscape painting languages.Through the study of the expression language of the elder painters’ painting works of Mount Emei,based on the author’s sketchwriting and creation works in Mount Emei,the paper explores the language of sketchwriting and the expression method of artistic creation.The first chapter of the thesis mainly discusses the regional characteristics of the natural mountains and rivers of Mount Emei and the cultural deposits.Firstly,from the formation of Mount Emei "majestic,magnificent,strange,dangerous,secluded" natural conditions and the rich historical humanistic connotation of Mount Emei;The second chapter of the paper analyzes the landscape painting themed on Mount Emei,from the expression of traditional techniques of the ancient Mount Emei landscape painting to the prominent language expression of a group of modern artists on the layout of Emei landscape painting,the expression of brush and ink,and the method of color.The third chapter of this paper focuses on the practice of Emei theme creation after the author analyzes and draws lessons from the painters’ painting techniques.First,the exploration of sketching is implemented into the creation.Secondly,the author’s aesthetic image of Mount Emei is summarized and practiced into the creation of this work.Through the creation of the theme,material arrangement and use,through the layout of rules,the use of pen and ink and dyeing to present a vigorous and elegant artistic conception with the aesthetic characteristics of Mount Emei.The fourth chapter of the thesis is the author’s perception of this creation,summing up the shortcomings and gains in the creation.This graduation research,through the relationship between the characteristics of Mount Emei and the creation of landscape painting,in-depth excavation and analysis of local resources,in order to better break through the surface from the objective object to the subjective understanding,pursue more profound connotation of landscape painting,and deeply understand the artistic language of landscape painting creation.
