"Shi" sentence is a highly used and unique sentence pattern,which plays an important role in Chinese grammar.It looks simple,but it is actually very complicated."Shi" sentence is also a sentence pattern that Chinese learners will come into contact with at the beginning.With the deepening of learning,Chinese learners will feel more and more confused about the learning of "Shi" sentence.Therefore,this paper analyzes the errors in the acquisition of "Shi" sentences by Chinese learners in Uganda through the questionnaire and the error corpus provided by the teacher of Confucius Institute in Makerere University,Uganda,and then analyzes and discusses the types of errors in the "Shi" sentence,the causes of errors in the "Shi" sentence,and the teaching countermeasures of the "Shi" sentence,hoping that this paper will be helpful to teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Uganda in the future,especially the teaching of the "Shi" sentence.This paper is divided into six parts:The introduction part of the article briefly introduces the background,research object,research status,research significance and methods;The first chapter mainly expounds the related theories of "Shi" sentence,including the definition of "Shi" sentence,the part of speech of "Shi" sentence,and seven sentence patterns of "Shi" sentence,and makes a summary to limit the research scope of this paper.The second chapter briefly describes the design principles,test requirements and the selection of test objects of the test questionnaire,and then analyzes and summarizes the data of the test questionnaire.The third chapter mainly analyzes the types of errors based on the data of the test questionnaire and the error corpus provided by the teachers of Macquarie College in Uganda.The fourth chapter analyzes the causes of errors in "Shi" sentence and puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions.The conclusion is the last part,which summarizes the main contents of this paper and also explains the shortcomings of this paper.
