Theme mainstream documentary film is a documentary type with Chinese characteristics.As the representative work of the mainstream ideology,it has a profound influence on our politics and economy.On the one hand,it records the important events,important figures and important nodes of the country in the current era through various audio-visual means to show the national style of The Times,highlight the achievements of national construction,and assume the function of the "national album".On the other hand,through positive guidance of public opinion,it has imperceptible educational significance and leads social people to establish national and ethnic identity.Mango TV is a new mainstream media platform based on Hunan Broadcasting and Television Station.It has the function of spreading mainstream values while attracting young audiences.In the face of the aesthetic needs of audience "net generation" different,have a "natural" youth positioning of mango TV want to bilibili,i QIYI,tencent,youku four network platform and the main output sides theme documentary-CCTV’s Nemesis surrounded by its own place,can only be constantly try to innovate,to explore and to attract audience’s documentary road.After years of development,mango TV’s documentary creation system has been approaching maturity since 2014.In the process of mango TV documentary creation and exploration,it has gradually formed its own style and found a path suitable for itself.A number of thematic documentaries have been recognized by the State Administration of Radio,Film and Television,and have been constantly searched during the broadcast period,attracting more attention.These achievements are closely related to mango TV’s innovative expression and marketing methods.Core with mango TV documentary production team members,in-depth interviews,and specific analysis of the case and the literature,found in mango TV theme documentary blended in more with a contemporary element,daring to try new forms of expression,in mainstream speak well of the story,at the same time complementary with marketing to break the inflexible impression that makes the audience for theme documentary film.
