| As one of the important propositions of Zhuzi’s theory of mindfulness,"mind and principle" is in fact a thread through Zhuzi’s ontology,work theory,and realm theory.Zhuzi’s philosophical construction of "mind and principle" conveys his expectation of moral rationality,that man,as a unique living being,is endowed with the full virtue of his mind,which is in complete unity with the divine principle.The four virtues of heaven are connected to the four virtues of humanity,and the mind of the creatures of heaven and earth is also the source of the moral mind of human beings,and the characters of heaven and earth are connected to each other.At this level,it can be said that the mind and the principle are one,which is virtue.Virtue is the clear virtue of the mind,and virtue is ren.In his discourse,Zhu Zi takes ren and clear virtue as the general program to unify the purpose of virtue,and often combines ren and clear virtue with mind and principle,and both ren body and clear virtue embody the complete unity of mind and principle.However,human beings are miscellaneous and impure,and the creation of their form is inevitably accompanied by the obstruction of the qi and selfish desires,so that the original bright virtue will be obscured,and the principle in the mind will also be dusty and cannot be sensed with the original mind,so there is a distinction between good and evil.However,Zhu Zi believed that ordinary people can cultivate through the daily work of morality,that is,the work of Ming Ming De,the main respect and connotation,the material and the principle,the sincere intention and the right mind,accumulation and penetration,learning to become a saint.The realm of the sage is the realm of the unity of mind and principle,the unity of sincerity,benevolence,and happiness,the realm of the sincere,the realm of the benevolent,the realm of the good,and the happiness of the "pure heavenly principle".In fact,back to Zhu Zi’s entire philosophical construction of "mind and principle","mind and principle" is virtue,which is the perfection of man’s attainment of the heavenly path,and the attainment of humanity’s attainment of the heavenly path,and man’s clear virtue and benevolence,which is the consistent longitudinal system of the heavenly path and the human path,and is also the presentation of the idea of the unity of heaven and man.This is the consistent vertical system of the Way of Heaven and the Way of Man,and is the presentation of the idea of the unity of Heaven and Man.The idea of "one mind and one principle" is a unity in both ontology and realm,both in ontology,in which the moral mind of man is united with the principle of life,and in the pursuit of realm,in which he hopes to reach the realm of one mind and one principle of the sage,without being forced to do so,in which he is at ease with the middle way.In it,Zhu Zi’s expectation of moral principle is implied,for man is the most spiritual individual among living creatures,whose moral mind is the most good,whose bright virtue is shining like a precious pearl,and is inseparable from the nature and principle,so that man can know and perceive external things,can sense with the principle in his mind,and can have good ends and perform good deeds.It is easy to see from Zhuzi’s idea of "the mind and principle are one" that Zhuzi had a beautiful vision of human nature,in which everyone can learn and attain through the secondary stages of learning,and become a saint and a sage.However,Zhu Zi also emphasized that romantic music should not be pursued because it would hinder rationalistic progress,and that "the music of Kong Yan" is a spiritual situation that will naturally flow only after one has reached the mind and principle. |
